The "PSI" Jar Test Apparatus models include a speed regulator for variable or fixed speed, stainless steel (S.S.) stirring shafts with adjustable height, and an S.S. propeller. An integrated illumination light ensures clear visibility during operation. The system features a digital speed display and a digital timer for accurate data recording. For enhanced functionality, models with microcomputer-controlled PLC and a large touch screen are available, enabling data recording and automatic program adjustments.
A robust DC motor coupled with a reliable speed controller forms the core of the jar test flocculation mechanism, connected by electric wiring cables for simplified maintenance. The stirring heads are user-friendly and can be easily lifted when placing beakers. The apparatus operates at a minimum speed of 5 RPM, with a high-precision stepper DC motor controlled by a speed knob regulator for smooth performance. An illuminated white LED light at the base provides clear observation of alum formation and settling patterns. The body of the jar test apparatus is constructed with GI powder coating and features a plexiglass bottom for effective light diffusion and durability.
