Reverse Laminar Air Flow

This equipment is commonly referred to as a Sampling or Dispensing Booth and is designed to effectively control the release of hazardous emissions such as powder, dust, or vapors during activities like powder dispensing, drum tipping, and product sampling. It ensures operator safety and protects the environment from contamination. These booths are available in a wide range of modular sizes to suit various industrial needs and are constructed using high-quality stainless steel, ensuring durability and reliability. The booth operates in a fully ducted design to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Design Features:
The booth’s design ensures a controlled, safe environment by utilizing a series of advanced features that prevent the escape of harmful particles or vapors. The booth structure is made from stainless steel AISI 304 with a scotch-brite finish and a self-supporting structure. The corners are rounded for easy cleaning, ensuring hygienic operation. The booth is designed with negative pressure to prevent any fine powders or dust from escaping into the external environment. This negative pressure is a crucial safety feature, helping to contain hazardous materials within the work area. Additionally, a perforated diffuser panel made of stainless steel shields the upper filtration area, providing uniform airflow.

The booth is equipped with 5/15 amp electrical points on the panel for easy connection of necessary equipment, while CFL lighting through a diffuser ensures proper illumination of the workspace. The internal height of the booth is adjustable according to specific requirements, with the standard height being 6’/1830 mm. The booth is ideal for applications such as product sampling, large-scale dispensing, and weighing of materials.

Specifications:
Filters: The booth is equipped with aluminum-framed HEPA filters, offering a minimum efficiency of 99.99% at 0.3 microns, ensuring that even the finest particles are effectively captured.
Exhaust Filter: The exhaust filter is also a HEPA filter, with the same high efficiency rating, ensuring that air released from the booth is clean and free of contaminants.
Pre-Filter: A washable pleated pre-filter with 90% efficiency (EU4 rating) helps extend the life of the HEPA filters by capturing larger particles before they reach the main filtration system.
Construction: The booth is made from 18 gauge (1.2 mm) stainless steel 304, providing durability and resistance to corrosion.
Air Flow: The airflow is designed for optimal efficiency, with a velocity of 90 FPM (0.45 m/s) and an average velocity of 10 FPM (0.05 m/s) measured 6 inches (152.4 mm) from the diffuser screen. The uniformity of airflow is maintained within 20% of the average or better.
Noise Level: The noise level is kept to a minimum, with 65 ±5 dB measured from the filter face.
Motor / Blower Assembly: The system uses a direct drive, continuous duty ¼ HP motor with sealed bearings. The motor is mounted in an FRP casing to reduce noise and vibration, and it is dynamically balanced for smooth operation.
Plenum: The plenum, made from stainless steel 304, is designed to distribute air uniformly and maintain negative pressure within the booth. This design prevents contaminated air or dust from bypassing the HEPA filters.
Finish: The booth is finished with a matte coating, ensuring a sleek, professional appearance and easy maintenance.
